Man, he's laughing all the way to the bank with this stuff, and its pretty simplistic too.
Its like a repressed society that gets a peek at some ankle.
Where the hell were the mobs of G8 protestors?

Bugger that said the citizens, its too dodgy.

They pile into the movies instead to lap up a bit of alternative politics from someone who has the guts to stick his turnip above the parapet.

Its really does remind me of a repressed society.

He's turned it into a snowball on a hill.
(A hill littered with dollar bills).

If I remember correctly, his next project is about the private healthcare system that the US has. There should lots of material in that subject for him to work with...

Just watched the Fahrenheit 9/11 trailer again and have to admit Dubya has a nice little move with a driver. He makes a nice back turn, and uses his right side for power, that I know takes pracitce.

Wil,
When your in the process of setting record vacation times instead of, i dunno, worrying about terrorist briefings then I guess there's plenty of time for the ol' One Wood.

Wil,

Like the soundtrack, Alvin Lee & 10 Years After. True Woodstock generation. The Marines at my battalion reunion had nice CDs made up as gifts to everyone. The album is entitled "Music To Die For, The Vietnam Collection". A little Airplane, Stones, Wilson Pickett etc.. Guaranteed to boost the PTSD level.

Dan - I recall the Alvin Lee Woodstock performance although I was not at Woodstock (busy if you know what I mean). Every now and then I watch the movie on an old VHS tape I have. I mentioned yesterday that I caught a Ray Charles concert in Wiesbaden Germany back in 69, also saw Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendirx at same location. A place called the Jahrhundert Halle, back then it was new, and great for concerts. Favorite anthem in Nam was:
There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief,
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief.
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth,
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."

"No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke,
"There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke.
But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate,
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late."

All along the watchtower, princes kept the view
While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too.

Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl,
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl.

Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower.

Wil,

My soul brother Marines refused to believe that Jimi was black. I also knew every word to most Temptation's tunes. Not bad for an Irishman from Brooklyn. RFVN used to proclaim that Jimi Hendrix was in the 101st as a segue to one of his songs. Seems like a very long time ago.
